As we continue transitioning Accuro users to Cloud hosting, the benefits are clear: a higher level of security for your data and more resources for bringing innovation to your EMR.

A majority of Accuro users have now transitioned from hosted Accuro to Accuro Cloud, and for most this change simply involves a new login to Accuro. For our local clients, the transition entails moving your data from a physical server in your clinic to Cloud hosting with QHR Technologies. These transitions are happening every day and will continue over the coming months.

Better Security

Moving your data into the Cloud has many benefits, not the least of which is keeping it safe. A key feature of Accuro Cloud is the addition of Accuro ONE ID for users, which requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) to log in. This extra layer of security adds protection against ransomware attacks, which are dangerous and costly to your organization. Adding MFA helps prevent hackers from accessing your credentials and helps keep your patient data safe.

Powerful Innovation

Accuro has previously been hosted in two different ways: locally (on servers in your clinic) or via ASP (on servers in our data centres). As a result, innovating in the past has meant developing for both environments, which can be inefficient and cost you, our customers, more in the end.

Moving Accuro to the Cloud not only streamlines the environments but also allows us to bring valuable new features to you more often and more quickly than ever before. In the past year, this has included the Accuro tools you’ve asked for, like the Accuro Admin Centre, the ability to create your own users in Accuro, and the power to reset your own passwords through Accuro ONE ID.

With the transition to Accuro Cloud, we’ll continue to deliver the Accuro experience you’ve come to rely on with more freedom to protect your patient data and innovate for your practice.
