Save images as PDFs.

PDF files are significantly smaller than TIFs and other image files, so consider using PDF as your standard format for photos, scans, and faxes.

Report scheduling & advanced reporting.

Did you know that long-running Query Alert searches can impact performance for other users in your clinic? Consider running these outside of clinic peak hours, or talk to your Practice Consultant about our Advanced Reporting option. With Advanced Reporting, we take a mirror of your database and run your desired report(s) on a separate database to take the load off your EMR.

Date filtering & chart archiving.

Using a date filter in the EMR section narrows your searches so you’re not pulling up more data than you need. Likewise, archiving data for longtime or frequent-visit patients lets you keep the most current information handy while moving older information into storage.
