One for the Record Books

It seems like just a minute ago that we were facing the new challenge of COVID-19, trying to find our footing in a world that had turned upside down. But here we are, nearly a year later, and the things we’ve accomplished together have been genuinely remarkable.

When the pandemic became an active concern in Canada, we, like many healthcare businesses, had to pivot quickly. Not only did we have to ensure the safety of our own staff, but we had to be ready to support our customers as they faced incredible new demands while navigating restrictions and resource shortages. I’ll be honest: it was a stressful time for all of us. But our team, in every department and at every level, stepped up and delivered so we could keep providing our users with the tools they needed.

Virtual care became an essential service in healthcare delivery, and we saw an unprecedented increase in adoption from both patients and providers. We received so many requests for virtual care access that we literally had to pull in staff from other departments to help process them (yes, your virtual care request may have been handled by a graphic designer), but we got through it. And I’m proud to know that our Accuro and Medeo tools played a part in keeping Canadian healthcare functioning when it mattered most.

So as we close this chapter of our 2020 experience, I want to sincerely thank you for trusting us with your business. I speak for myself and the entire QHR team when I say, it’s your success that drives what we do every day and we’ll keep working to earn your support.
