As COVID-19 has increased the burdens on healthcare, many clinics have seen their number of available appointments go down while the number of patients waiting to be seen goes up. And now, with restrictions starting to lift, that bottleneck has resulted in a backlog of appointments and procedures needing to be managed. Enter Accuro’s Wait List function.
The Wait List is a powerful tool to help you organize and prioritize patients who are waiting for appointments and procedures to become available. Using Wait List starts with configuring your settings, including customizing certain functions to suit your workflow, so a great first step is to familiarize yourself with how Wait List works so you understand your options.
The Wait List User Guide will walk you through the step-by-step configuration process, help you understand the best customization options for your clinic, and make sure you start off on the right foot.
Configuration
If the Wait List tab isn’t already visible in the Navigation Bar on the left side of your Accuro screen, it will need to be enabled. Any Accuro user who is a System Administrator can do this by going to the Accuro Start Menu and searching Modules. Select Configure Modules and check off Surgical Wait List. Log out and back in to see this section appear in Accuro.
You can also see Wait List in action by watching our Wait List webinar.
